First time visiting this place along with my group of friends. Excellent sports bar setup along with cheap drinks and great food. We had the Meat Combo pizza along with traditional BBQ wings. Perfect combination of food and amazing service! Would highly recommend checking out this historic building and enjoying the food and atmosphere.

I eat at the Coliseum quite often, at least once a week. Overall, their food is good, but nothing special. It is typical small town, sports bar fare. If you go in with that mindset you will be pleasantly surprised, but if you are expecting anything other than that, then you will be disappointed. I do really enjoy their burgers. Their Gyros are awesome and their Loaded Quesadilla is great. Stick with the sandwiches, pizza, and the various appetizers and you can't go wrong. Some of their entrees leave something to be desired though. Their ribs are mushy and completely fallling apart (which many Midwesterns think is a good thing, but real barbecue fans know that mushy meat is no good). It's hit or miss if your steak will come out the right temperature-usually it comes out medium well. And most of their wing sauces, while not horrible, kind of miss the mark. One area where I think they really excell is their service. Every server and bartender I have ever had there has been great and very friendly. In a sports bar like this servers and bartenders can often get kind of jaded and start to cope attitudes. I'm not saying that there are none of these types here, but I've never encountered them. Overall, I really enjoy the place. The service is great and food is solid, if nothing special. It's a good place to catch a game, stop for a beer, or bring the family for a meal.

A cozy little bar with inexpensive items in the bar. The staff was friendly and attentive, which is not typical for a Sunday at 1pm crew. Unfortunately I had to leave earlier than I planned and did not get to try their food. I would be willing to come back.

Sitting at a place called the Coliseum. . . Hmmmmmmm what to order? The coliseum is in Rome, Italy. This is near Greece? Well closer to Greece that it is the the US. The guy sitting at the end of the bar sounds like he might be from Greece. Perhaps something Greek? Gyros! The gyros were indeed excellent. Gyros (pronounced yee-ros) are considered a street or fair food in Greece. The version here was done perfectly - crunchy bits where where they were browned - tender and that wonderful seasoning - cool crunchy raw onions. The tzatziki sauce was yogurt based and very well executed. Seasoned fries were an absolutely perfect accompaniment. I wish I wasn't there for lunch as a beer would have been the perfect thing to wash it down with. I've had gyros all over - Madison, Chicago, Frankfort, Munich, Vienna, Paris and Rome. Eau Claire, WI has some of the best at the Olympic Flame. This one was right up there with the best. Go here. Do not hesitate. Get the Gyros.

I've been here twice and the food was great each time. The first time I went was on a Saturday; I had the prime rib special for $9.99. The prime rib was cooked rare as I had asked for; overall very good, especially for the price. Next time I went fell on a Sunday and I got an all you can eat shrimp plate for the same price. The butterflied shrimp were small, but the first plate they brought had at least 16 shrimp. The next plate had 12 and I couldn't eat anymore after eating the fries. My husband got the gyros each time, he was very pleased. Dipping fries in tzatziki sauce is awesome, any else enjoy that? Go here for cheap, good food; you won't be disappointed!

I really like this place, it's a sports bar/restaurant done right. Nice size, great decor, and a full menu. Easily my current favorite place to eat in Fond du Lac. The Gyros are the next best thing to the fair. The various flavors of buffalo wings are really good, and none of them I have tried are too hot. Go for the Gyros and stay for a couple beers and catch the game. Great friendly service.

Love this place. Being a big sports person I like the sporty setting. But all around the food was amazing and came pretty quick. And even though I like to try different places every time I will definitely be back.

I've been here a few times and the food is great every time. The gyros are great, and the Chili is amazing. They have a great beer selection and something local is always on tap. I would suggest this place over any other in FDL if you're looking for a casual, inexpensive place to eat and/or drink.

Great location, right in the heart of "downtown" Fondy. Lots of TVs and plenty of dining area. The waitresses were pretty nice and always around when you needed them. The food...that's where things kinda went wrong. I ordered an 11oz NY Strip, medium, with fries and vegetables. It also came with soup or salad, I chose the salad, which came from a bag. The steak was cooked somewhere between medium-well and well done. Definitely not medium. It came topped with sauteed onions and mushrooms, which I liked, but there were more of those than steak. They were also VERY salty. The vegetables were the frozen vegetable medley type and were LOADED with salt and butter. After all that salt, I didn't even want to try the fries, even though they were seasoned and I have a soft spot for seasoned fries. Ok, so maybe I tried a few, and they were damn good. I'd like to go back for the wings since I've heard good things about them. I wouldn't go back for the steak though...

Wife had the philly cheese steak. she liked it a lot. I had the boneless wings w/ 3 different sauces and they were OK. The service was good and it looked like a great place to grab a meal and watch the game.

Missy took extremely good care of us. Pleasantly surprised by number of gluten-free menu items. Chicken Caesar salad was yummy!

In true Wisconsin fashion... CHEESE soup, cottage CHEESE for a side, and lots of CHEESE on the food. Our waitress was attentive but forgetful. The Cuban was good but a little heavy on the mustard. The chicken was slightly overdone (or microwaved). The Gyro meat appeared to actually have been cooked on a spit and was tasty!

I went there for lunch and got an order of hot wings and french fries. The wings were great and so was the sauce. I would definitely recommend this place for wings fans. It was your typical sports bar. I got a Spotted Cow beer with lunch which came in a frosty glass with a lemon slice. Overall a decent meal in a very predictable establishment.
